Internet Usage in India

Using the internet may seem like something everybody in the world uses, but due to censorship, income and poverty levels and the advancement of a country and its peoples, many still do not have access to it.

As of 2009, the internet in India has had over 61, 300, 000 users. This number is based on internet usage per household, not through smart phones such as Blackberry, Apple's iPhone or a phone on the android network.

One of the most interesting aspects of Google India is that the website has interfaces offered in English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi and Tamil. The fact that a company strives to keep the world connected, even through hundreds of languages and translations is a positive way has helped to impact internet traffic in a big way.
